Klaus Kenneth bowed down in the Eparchial Monastery of Saints Constantine and Helena
Is it much or little to travel 2 000 000 km in search of Love? In search of Christ? Everyone can answer himself to that question.
Indeed, there is a man that has travelled that distance while he finally met Christ. And not only; but he has described his journey in a book. Klaus Kenneth, German by nationality, Orthodox by faith, gave his answer. He was in Varna to meet his readers during The week of the Orthodox book.
Invited by the monastery brethren, he bowed down deeply before St Constantine and Helena and prayed before St Valentine’s relics. He was obviously impressed by the atmosphere. In the warm September evening Orthodox songs and transparent soft light created a special cosiness in the monastery yard.
Our guest was obviously excited. Today one can rarely feel such a peace of soul, such God’s Blessing. This place is special, shared the guest.
Engaged in sharing experiences, in endless questions and answers, we missed to take s photograph as keepsake. Well, the “photograph” of a meeting with an adherent, a brother in Christ, is eternal. In the same way as joy in Kingdom of Heaven is eternal!
